February in Review-

-"Sleeplessness does such a weird thing to my brain. I go down paths of regrets. Like, "We should have gone to see the character parade while we were at Disneyland." Uh, is this going to be like my life? I'm going to lay in my coffin and have a whole eternity of living with my "should have dones."

-"If it's going to be cold, the best gift to help endure it?- No School, No School!"

_"Glow?" my ass, it's call acne."

-" How does a kumquat size thing in my gut make my thighs look like grapefruits got lodged in them?"

-"We are currently residing on "Lake Petersen."

-"I love snowmen. Everything about them- the fun that's put into building them, the personality of each little face, and their secret life that happens when we are asleep."

-"Power of 10. That's all I can do."
When this baby zaps all my energy, I just go 10 at a time. 10 more things to pick up. 10 more dishes. 10 more minutes. 10 is very doable.

-"105 Reasons We <3 you"= best valentines surprise ever! :)
While we were gone the kids made a 105 hearts with reasons they love us and taped them to our door with streamers and a present! they are so awesome!

-"Monday Morning Matinee= my new favorite thing!"
For my birthday Cody and I took a day off and went to an 11 movie. We were the only people in the theater! It was awesome!

-"It's amazing how it actually may have taken 38 years, but at this point I actually have found a few true friends."

-"On the flip side, I'm really sad by the number of people I begged for acknowledgment from, and in the end wasted energies that were never appreciated."
Lesson learned.

-"36 Roses! Yes, that is 3 dozen, THREE DOZEN - Beautiful Roses!"

-"Muddy dirt and yellow grass, You are so beautiful to my winter eyes!"

-"Black eye, Broken nose, Creeden has definite strength in his headbutt."

Baby it's Cold Out There!

I decided that I would update this on a monthly basis, now that I have a whole year on the backside.
That being said, I will add the end of my December thoughts to my January, and well, here we go!

-"Christmas Break over = super :( "

-"Love sitting around and playing games with my own little family!"
The kids learned how to play rummy over break, I think we have totaled over a 100 hrs of cards :) (or close)

-"I am partied out!"
It was a party year for the Grovers- good job us!

-"Sleeping in- what a fun little luxury!"

-"I love cooking in a clean kitchen-"

-"Is it so wrong that when I'm settled in to do paperwork, but forgot to grab a pen, I automatically put my hands down in the couch cushions?"
Terrible I know, and even worse that the habit stems from success....

-"Two Spirits Exchange."

-"Has my distaste for cold created an early spring?"
Ya, I'm pretty sure I'm the one in control of that.

-"A Magic Bean" :)

-"My skis were lined all neatly in a row. Very organized. Lose  two feet of snow, and they look like the game tiddly winks."

-"I swear I just shut that door and turned off the light 30 sec ago,  and here I am doing it again."
Seriously it amazes me  how many times in a day I can do the same thing.

-"Hi, I'm Emily, and here's my alter ego, and my other alter ego, and Hi, I'm emily."
Yep, one of those days.

-"Sunshine in January- Ah, the blessedness of it."

-"Yes, I gave myself a haircut, and of course I was naked, what's wrong with that?"
My siblings thought this was hilarious, I think it is very logical.

-"Warm water makes me so sleepy."

-"Love love the seat heater in my car."

-"Has anyone seen my mind?" Micheal Franti

-"Is anyone else addicted to hot showers?"

-"Seriously? I never taught my kids what happens when you stick your tongue to the flagpole? And, he is my logical one!"
Much trama later, he has tastebuds back.

-"I need a robot mode, turn the switch to auto pilot please."

-" Uh, if I can't get the couch off my butt, can you bring the stove to me please?"

-"I need a thermometer attached to my door so that when I go out to run and it's only 0` I can turn around and work out inside. Good news, I lost no limbs to frostbite!"

Tis the Season!

December-

-"I'm pretty sure my walls feel heavy with all the decorations."
I love Christmas decorations, but I really love when it comes down and it makes my house automatically feel lighter.

-"Ah, the fairytale of Christmas!"

-"I believe that leftovers should have less calories, and other peoples food has less calories. Why else would I really want the first bite of every bowl of cereal made in the morning?"

-"Just because the downstairs is clean means nothing for the upstairs."

-"I do love the color red. It makes me feel warm, and glowy, and happy."
It is not normally my favorite color, but definitely wonderful at Christmas.

-"love love love falling asleep holding my 3 year olds hand.:)"

-"Snow and sunshine are a fabulous combination!"
After a day of sledding :)

November-

-"Cutest kids ever! Fridays are spirit day, My older 3 tromping out in the fog, yellow leaves, and decked out in their red, so so cute."

-"Love when we get scriptures and prayers done before school, makes such a difference."

-"Fog=:)"

-"Being dark at 5:45 makes me want to go to bed at 5:45."
Amazing how the sun makes such a difference in my energy levels.

-"My left arm has so much respect for my right arm now. And my right arm has so much respect for my left arm for taking the brunt of everything now. - And my shoulders are mad at both arms for making them work more."
6 weeks in a sling and I should be officially ambidextrous.

-".74 cents, yep, that's how much gas I put in the car. And the last .14 were pennies."
I forgot my purse, and was afraid I wouldn't make it to the bank before running out of gas.... ahh, my life. ;)

-"I know the clock says 9:33 p.m. but it's lying, I know it is like 12 or 2 or I'm sure it's almost 3 a.m."

-"Cookies and almond milk= yum!"

And on our way back to early nights.

October-
-"Creed- 'Mom, you can say "you rock" to me.
  me- 'Creed, you rock'
  Creed- 'I believe that.'"
This kid saves me on a daily basis.

-"Sometimes it would be nice to have good news."

-"Company coming and dryer breaks=not good timing."
But, the good news was that between staying up all night to fix it, and a super smart husband, it only cost us less than $10! Sweet!

I should live on the equator.

Yes, very true.

This is my admitting to becoming enchanted with Big Bang Theory.

-"DIS-NEY! DIS-NEY! DIS-NEY!"

-"VA-CA-SHUN!"
Yes, we went to Disneyland, and yes, I know vacation is spelled, with tion, but it sounds better with shun. :)
